DannyGARFORTHAged 85 years. Danny's family are sorry to announce the loss of a loving Husband, Father and Grandpa. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Danny was a talented sportsman, playing golf with a single figure handicap for over 50 years at club and county level. He was captain of Ormskirk Golf Club in 1978 but made a much, much wider contribution to golf and outside of Ormskirk. Outside of golf, his family and alongside his full time job Danny was a JP at Ormskirk Magistrates Court, a Governor at Bluecoat School in Liverpool and a General Commissioner for tax, which led to some interesting conversations! We will be celebrating his life at Lathom Park Chapel on 22nd July 2022 at 11.30am, followed by a committal at West Lancashire Crematorium at 13.00pm. Family flowers only please but donations to Kidney Care UK would be welcome.
