Jacqui, like her late husband before her, was a president of the Bishop's Stortford Civic Society. She gave generously of her time in that role, and later, financially, to the civic award, which bears the family name. It is made in most years for the development which has done most to improve the appearance of our town. The Civic Federation (the successor orgaisation of which I am the current president) still makes the award when there is a develpment which deserves it -sadly not so often recently. We remember her fondly and offer our sympathies to her family.
