With great sadness it is announced the passing at St Johns Hospital, Livingston on 26th January 2026, Robert Raeside aged 67 of Colinton Road, Edinburgh.

Formerly of Stirling and recently of Edinburgh Napier University and Heriot Watt University.

A wake to celebrate Robert's life will take place from 4pm on Friday the 27th of February at BrewDog Lothian Road (50 Lothian Rd, Edinburgh, EH3 9BY, Scotland).

Everyone who knew Robert and wants to come together to celebrate his life is welcome.

Hi ,Mr Robert Raeside was a gentleman and an awesome person , he’s the reason I managed to get a masters degree from Edinburgh Napier , I’m based in nairobi kenya and I pray for serenity for his family and condolences to the family , he was fair , kind , guiding , willing and considerate like a father figure I will never forget how he supervised me during my dissertation for my masters and I’ll always be eternally grateful may God keep him happy and safe amen
