Pete, one of the all time greats. Loved by us but never to be forgotten.So many happy memories through the years of laughter and brilliant times spent together with him and Ali. We shall miss you. Love always, Sally and Mick xxx

I was so sad to learn of Pete's death from Alison. Pete is one of the loveliest men I've ever known. He & my Dad were friends before I was born so he & Alison have always been in my life. I remember our families going on holiday together to, I think, the New Forest & my brothers & I used to have fun going into Pete's chicken coop & finding eggs. I never think of Pete without a smile on his lovely face & that is how I will always remember him. I'm so grateful I got to have a hug with Pete a few weeks before his passing
