HelenWOODHOUSEOf Broadfield, Oswaldtwistle, sadly passed away on Friday 16th January 2026, aged 80 years.

Helen sadly leaves behind her dearly loved husband Ronald, her devoted sons Alan and Graham, her loving daughter in law Cathryn and her treasured granddaughters Emily and Olivia, whom she doted on. Helen will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12.20pm, on Thursday 29th January 2026, at Accrington Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, with donations in memory of Helen being received for The Salvation Army, further enquires please to

My lovely Aunt Hen from you holding me as a baby to growing up with you coming over to visit nan. The walks round the village to the chats at the kitchen table and the laughter we had. You have now gained your angel wings and you are now at peace . Rest easy Aunt Hen. Sending love and hugs to Uncle Ron, Alan and Graham , Cath and the girls. Love always your niece Caroline xx

I knew Helen many years ago when I went to college with Alan. She was a wonderful lady who was always up for a laugh and made me feel very welcome and part of the family.
