For My dearest beautiful Aunty Thea,
A wonderful celebration of life for her funeral will be held today in England! Please remember the great impact she has made on each of us, and keep her son Sam & her grandchildren in your thoughts & prayers.
Thea used to say "Carpe Diem" , this is Latin, meaning to seize the day, and she even had these words inscribed in a beautiful colourful painting once on her own kitchen wall! Words she has lived by, and certainly that is what she has definitely achieved!
My Aunty Thea has worn many hats for her lifelong achievements as a sister & daughter, becoming a very proud mother & grandmother having had many varied interesting careers as a publican, worked in the local China shop and taught as boarding school house mum to many, with her pastoral care practising her catholic learning to everyone she came across. And...Oh boy....my Aunty Thea could handle any car, in any situation, anywhere... just hold onto your hats with that lead foot!
Thea accomplished her university studies in Arts so through her deep love for art and all things beautiful, she always had an eye for colour & had an amazing style of her own. Remembering our special trip together to France & also in her travels of the world, we went with so much love exploring more forms of art & beauty that she has taught me to seek out.
Aunty Thea has lead a full filled life with so many experiences and I'm sure you have many stories to share & tell us too....Thea had so much love and excitement for all things and everyone. Aunty Thea would always light up every room she entered with joy & her vivacious passion for life! We are blessed and grateful to have had known her and how much she has made an huge effect on all our lives, we will always love & remember the footprints Thea has left on our hearts. Theas brother Ray & I her niece, and all her family in Australia will always hold a special place in our hearts for our Thea has earned her angel wings. Love Ryanne & family
