CharlesWOOD(Beaufort Hill) 1913 - 2008 Roy, Janice and family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their many kind expressions of sympathy, cards of condolence and support received following the recent loss of a father, grandfather and great- grandfather. Special thanks to Mr David Garett for a moving service at Henllys Funeral Home, interment followed at Brynmawr Cemetery. Thanks to all the staff at Tredegar General Hospital and to all the carers who looked after Dad at home. Also special thanks to Mr Adam Davies (Bugler) of the Royal Welsh Cadet Band, Mr Rhys Jones of Cwm Branch Youth Standard (Bearer) and Royal British Legion Cwm Branch for the poppy wreath. Donations were received in lieu of flowers for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, the amount raised was £321. Thanks to the Cendl Inn for the refreshments and special thanks to Mr Godfrey Thomas and staff for their help with the funeral arrangements.
