Jean passed peacefully of natural causes, surrounded by her family on Wednesday 13th August 2025 at the Royal Victoria Infirmary aged 95 years.
Jean beloved wife of Jacky (deceased) wonderful mam to Michael, Colin (deceased), Peter, David and Ann, loving mother in law to Chris, Nicola, Sandra and Micky, adored Grandma and Great Grandma, loving Aunty and much loved sister and sister in law. Fondest friend. Jean will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Would family and friends please meet for the funeral service and cremation at the West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 2nd September 2025 at 12:30.
Jean's family warmly welcome you all to join them to celebrate Jean's life after the service at the Benfield Football Club Walkergate, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE6 4NU.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers can be made if desired, in memory of Colin in aid of Neuroblastoma and childhood cancer research Bradley Lowery Foundation.
No formal wear required, something comfortable is welcomed. Jean is much loved and will always be in our hearts.
