Michael AntonyWESTLAKEPassed away at home on Tuesday 24th October. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all his family & friends. Reunited with his beloved Chris.

Funeral service to take place on Tuesday 28th November, 2:00pm, Westerleigh Crematorium, Waterside Chapel, followed by a wake at Stokers Pub, Little Stoke. All welcome to attend. Family flowers only but donations in Michael's memory may be made to St Peters Hospice c/o F Woodruff Funeral Services, 2 High Street Winterbourne, BS36 1JN.

I knew both Michael and Chris they were my neighbours when they lived at 3 Chalcombe Close, Little Stoke. Michael was an Editor on the Bristol Evening Post and was a bit of a gentle giant covering Rugby Games as well as other story's. I sometimes played squash with him and darts. Retrieving darts from Mike's accurate but powerful throws was not an easy task. Only just learnt of his death it's NOW December 2025. My good wishes to his family. Rest well Mike. Brian Hopkinson
