BrianWAGHORNOn the 15th Novemeber 2025 Brain Rodney Waghorn (Waggy) of Marple
died peacefully aged 72 at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
Brian worked for C&C Marple for 25 years.
Devoted husband of Pat. Amazing dad/Father in law, Grandad, Brother and Uncle.
In accordance with Brians wishes there will be no funeral.

uncle brian i will miss you for ever loved are chats on the phone and hearing you laugh we where always talking football and we always had the same thoughts about man united and stockport county i will still want to phone you after football but will have to go for a walk with buddy and look up and talk to you i promise i will look out for auntie pat vikki and andrew miss you for ever but so glad there's no pain for you anymore xxx

Hearing of your passing has brought fond memories flooding back, from shaking the chips in the kitchen, and our BBQs in the garden at Marple always the best meat from Littlewoods, a true legend, I know Pat and the family will be lost without you

Dad what can I say you know I don’t like reading or writing ( like father like son)the dedication you had as a father was pure the dedication as a husband to mum was pure I can’t even remember bad memories only good memories you advised me guided me to the man I am today because I learned that from you you are and always be my hero and my MUCCA I promised you you would not go alone me and our vics kept that promise I am so proud to be your son Andy waghorn and proud that your my dad you have not gone as you will always be there you are the strongest man I have known and always will be I will always love you think of you and talk to you I’m so glad I was there till the end my MUCCA
