Husband to the late Rosa, dad to John and Fred, grandad to Vicki and Anthony, and great-grandad to Archie. A dear friend to Wynn and Lynn.
Don was known for his independence, resourcefulness, and determination. He was always ready to tackle a job or lend his practical skills, speaking his mind and living life on his own terms right up until the last months of his life. His family respected the strength and tenacity that carried him through.
A funeral service will take place on Friday 13th March at 1:15pm at St Mary Magdalene Church, Wyken Croft, followed by burial at Lenton's Lane Cemetery at 2:30pm. A celebration of Don's life will be held at Barnacle Village Hall from 3:00pm.
