Sandor (Alex)SIPOCZSandor known as Alex, aged 80 years of Oswaldtwistle, sadly passed away on Sunday, 14th April 2019. His family were with him at his bedside in hospital in his final days and Alex is now at peace after suffering a long illness. Alex who was born in Hungary lived here for over 60 years leaves his wife Joan, sons Stephen and Philip and daughter Tara, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Alex worked at Mullards in Blackburn then as a blacksmith at John Heskeths, Bury. He had an interest in sport, particularly football. He was a keen amateur footballer, manager and referee. He was involved with Woodnook Villa and St. Mary's, Oswaldtwistle football teams. Alex's Funeral Service and Cremation will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Thursday, 25th April at 1.40pm.
