John JamesSHONEWith great sadness, we announce the passing of John James Shone. Born on 10th September 1954, died on 19th April 2025, at the age of 70.
John passed away suddenly in hospital in South Shields, and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 41 years, Jacinta, his children David (Clair), Elaine (Holly), and Samantha (Chris), and his four grandchildren, Maximilian, Edward, Isabella, and Noah.
Requiem Mass to be held at The Sacred Heart RC Church, Boldon at 1pm on Tuesday, 20th May, with burial to follow at 2:30pm at Harton Cemetery.
The reception to follow directly at The Little Haven Hotel, South Shields. All welcome to attend. Family flowers only, and no football shirts at the funeral, please. Donations in lieu of flowers to Parkinson's UK. A donation box will be available at the church.
