RitaSALTPeacefully on Thursday 15th June 2023 at Rock Cottage Care Home. Rita, aged 88 years of Stockton Brook and Werrington, the dearly loved Wife of the late Ken, treasured Mum of Gail and Steve, Richard and Joy, Amanda, Mark and Jane. A wonderful Nan to Matthew, Alex and Gemma, Olivia, Kallum and Polly and a special Great Nan to Georgia, Grace and Miller. Funeral service to take place on Monday 24th July 2023 at St Philp's and St Jame's Church, Milton at 2:15pm. Followed by committal at Carmountside Crematorium. Family flowers only please by request, donations preferred to Bowel Cancer UK or The Donna Louise Trust (Cheques to be made payable to Douglas Macmillan for this charity). My wonderful Mum, it's two years today, & Father's Day too, since we lost you.
Not a day goes by without your lovely face springing into my mind which makes me smile!
We talk of you both often. Alex has such happy childhood stories of time spent with you both which keeps your memory alive for your beloved Great Granddaughters, Georgia & Grace.
Love and miss you and Dad more than you could ever know.

Mum, one year ago today you slipped quietly away and how I've missed you.
You were simply the Best Mum, Nan and Great Nan.
Beautiful inside and out.
Kind, loving, generous, honest and fair - attributes that I too hold dear to my heart.
I am privileged to call you my Mum and to have such wonderful, precious memories of those last few weeks; reminiscing, recollecting, laughing and so much more!
Love and miss you Mum.
