The obituary notice of Alistair RUSSELL

Nigh on 57 years since I was in his metalwork classes. I just send best wishes to his family from Western Australia R.I.P.

Alistair Russell an exceptional engineer and motor vehicle technician taught me at Waltham toll bar and later again at Nunn's corner college, I learnt a lot from him as he had the patience for pupils who showed interest ,rest in peace Sir 😞

Mr Russell ... Later known as Alistair to me, taught me at Waltham toll bar school many moons ago! Then we bumped into each other at the Grimsby college.
He was a very strict but fair teacher, probably the best teacher I had, if you didn't understand something he would find a way to help you understand including practical demonstrations lol.
A very sad loss ... My thoughts are with his family.

Mr. Russell our metalwork teacher at Waltham Toll Bar secondary modern. An inspirational educator. I spent as much time as I could in the metalwork room encouraged by Alistair. In no doubt this layed the foundation for my future on engineering. We bumped into each other years late. Thank you Sir.
