Passed away peacefully on 18th January 2026 at Wellburn House Care Home, Stockton-on-Tees, aged 84 years
Devoted and loving wife to Arthur. Dearly loved Mam to Richard, Nigel, Goldie and Joanne. Loving nanna to Christopher, Steven, James, Aimee, Rebecca, and Michael. A cherished sister to Ann and late brothers and sisters. A dear mother-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, great-grandmother, and a trusted and much-loved friend to many. A service will take place for family and friends on Friday 13th February, at 13.45pm, at St John the Evangelist RC Church, Billingham. Followed by interment, with family in attendance, at Billingham Cemetery. Family and friends please meet at the church. -------- I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when my life is done. -----------
