The obituary notice of Geoffrey ROBB

Geoffrey was for many years an enormous help and source of sensible, practical and authoritative advice in his role as medical adviser to my underwriting team at a local insurer. I know of others in the industry who benefited similarly and who, like me, would wish to thank Geoffrey for his genuine friendship and recognise his outstanding contribution to life and health assurance in the UK.

I feel honoured to have met Geoffrey. He had such a positive presence and a genuine interest in listening to people. He was proud to champion people's efforts in positive impact. My favourite memory of Geoffrey is the joy he had for what he did. I feel my heart is warm that you are with Esther.

Geoffrey was a wonderfully supportive and inspiring colleague when we worked together for many years at Epsom Hospital. I am grateful for the friendship we went on to share; our many, many long walks and enjoyable talks on Headley Heath; our climbs on Box Hill. I will miss his companionship; his wonderful voice and his wise words and compassionate nature. Always measured in what he said and did.
