I blinked my eyes and that was it,
So much missed, so much gone,
I still thought you would come home,
It must be a mistake someone made,
I didnt want to believe, I was afraid

Grandchildren, great Grandchildren you would never meet,
You would have loved them all a treat,
As I sit and reminisce, my heart still aches, its still in bits.
I will never get over you passing,
Just learn to live to a different pattern,
I still think of you every day,
Your voice, your smile, your laugh does fade,
But in my heart forever you'll stay.
