Dearest son of the late Annie and Philip, dearly beloved and devoted husband and best friend of the late Olive of 67 years. Dearly loved, devoted, admired and cherished dad of Paula and devoted dad of Roger, dearly loved and devoted Grandpa of Victoria, respected, admired and loved by Victoria's fiance Ben. Dearest brother of Sonia and the late Ted, Betty, Fred, Philip, Joan, Alberta and Ken. Dearly respected brother-in-law of the late Peggy, Cyril, Jeanne, Joyce, Sid, Eddie, Brenda and Jack and was highly regarded by Olive's family. A lovely man and uncle to all his nephews, nieces and their families, a dear cousin. A loss to his remaining friends. Funeral to be held on Friday 24th September 2021. Service at Swansea Crematorium at 2.00 pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, may be made to the Alzheimers Society (Research), Scott Lodge, Scott Road, Plymouth PL2 3DU or if preferred may be given to Miss Victoria Hancock- Pritchard on the day of the funeral. It was a real privilege to take Gordon in the driver's cab of a GWR Intercity Express Train in 2019, a couple of months shy of his 100th birthday. It was a day we'll always treasure and all of his friends in the railway family pass on their sincere condolences.
