It was always so wonderful to bump into Dorothea and Tony in Burton-on-Trent when I was with my Mum and Dad. You felt so much better for having met them.

When I was in town with my Auntie Margaret we would often bump into Dorothea in the Ladies Department of either Beatties, Emily Brigden or Marks and Spencer. We did so love to talk about all the clothes!

Dorothea was such a happy and lovely lady and I do so miss her and Tony when I am in Burton-on-Trent.

Rest in Peace Dorothea.

My family lived next door to Dottie and her family in Bretby Lane since 1983 and became great friends. Dottie was so kind and generous with a wicked sense of humour which has given us many fond memories. She will certainly be missed by all who knew her and it was a pleasure to be her friend. So sad.
