I knew Gordon when he and I where helpers at the Unity Boys Club
, in Dove Street, Liverpool, we where both there when Bob Slater was the leader in charge, Gordon was an old friend of Bobs from his days when he was in the Boys Brigade, I also helped Gordon later on when he got a job being in charge of a youth programme, I can’t remember exactly what though, Gordon was an enthusiastic helper at the Unity and gave many of the Boys direction and purpose in their lives, as with Bob deterring them from a path they otherwise might have taken, my thought and prayers are with Elizabeth and family.
