Philip (Phil)PARKINSONOn 19th August 2021 peacefully in Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Buckinghamshire. Aged 68 years, formerly of Slaithwaite. The beloved eldest son of Patricia and the late Peter, a much-loved brother of Vivian, Denise, Caroline and Russell, A treasured brother in law of Maz, Graeme and Ursula. Uncle to Luke, Bryony, Alex, Hannah, Charlotte, Jessica, Lily, and a great friend to many. A former Head Boy of Colne Valley High School (leaver 1971). A lifelong teacher introducing and educating many generations of students to the joy of modern languages and European culture. Phil's love of music, fine wine and European food took him to the continent at almost every opportunity. Funeral to take place on Monday 13th September at 2:00pm at Beirton Crematorium Aylesbury. I've only just found this. Mr. P was the best teacher I ever had and he never even directly taught me. He was hilarious and actually spoke to you like a human not just a snotty nosed teenager. May you rest in everlasting peace Mr. P. You were and continue to be a legend.
