AnneMEECHANOn Thursday 14th March 2024 Anne aged 84 years was called home across the rainbow bridge to Heaven. She joins her brother George who sadly passed away in January in Barnsley.
She leaves behind 3 Children, 8 Grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and their spouses.
Anne was a qualified Nurse in her early life and worked around Sheffield and Barnsley.
She helped out in many places, friendship groups, Ukraine Relief, Deaf Camp, Cruse as well as many Church Committee's and groups with children. She even worked with my local Guide Group. She worked at the doctors surgery at Top Shops on Sandringham Road.
Her sharp wit and love of nature will be missed. Her knowledge extensive, she was great at crosswords and code breakers.
Thank you from our family, for the people who cared for her at home. Thank you too for those who knew Anne as a friend. For the cups of tea you shared.
We will miss you. "Hope they have Magnums in Heaven."
A celebration of Anne's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 12th April at 10.30 am. Family flowers only by request, however donations in Anne's memory may be sent to East Midlands Deaf Children's Camp Bank Lloyds. Sort Code 30-98-97 Account Number 31275362.
