MaryMEECHAN - (TAIN)Mary (Giby) passed away peacefully, after a short illness bravely fought, surrounded by her loving family, at The Highland Hospice on Friday 28th November 2025, aged 66 years.

Beloved wife of Pat, much loved mum of Stefanie, Clair and Greg, mother-in-law of Dan and Sinead, devoted grannie of Taylor, Kamryn, Ryley, Liath, Sophie, Lloyd, India, Kailen, Amelia, Leyton, Brodie and Billy, loving daughter of Rosemary and the late William Gibb, sister of Morag and the late Billy, Iain and Margaret, auntie and a good friend to many.

Private funeral service to be held at Mary's request.

No flowers please, but a donation, if desired, can be made online in loving memory of Mary for The Highland Hospice.

I am privileged to have been best friends with Mary for well over four decades.
We had plenty of laughs and good times.
She was a wonderful person, SIMPLY THE BEST.
I will love her and miss her forever.

Mary, I will always be proud to call you a friend, although we haven't seen each other for a while,we never lost touch through our chats on messenger. I'll always remember your sense of humour, we had so many good times at school and beyond. May you now rest in peace, free from pain and suffering. Fond memories of you always.

It's heart breaking to lose someone who means so much, but Mary, you're still with us in so many ways - in the happy times we shared and the laughter and smiles you've left behind. Such precious memories.

Dear Mary, you left this world far too soon, but your kindness, humour and warmth will stay with those who loved you forever. You faced a cruel illness with courage and grace, and although your body became tired, your spirit never faded.

I will always remember your laughter, your messages, your strength, and the way you cared about others even when you were suffering yourself. You touched more lives than you could ever imagine, and that love does not end here.

You are now at peace, free from pain, and I take comfort in believing that you are resting gently, surrounded by light. I will carry you in my heart always, dear friend. Thank you for being part of my life. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. 💜🧡🕊️
