Died peacefully on 1st May 2024 at Mumbles Nursing Home, Swansea.

Beloved husband of Joyce, loving father of Stephen, Barry, Michael, Julie, Cameron and Jayne and a proud grandfather and great grandfather.

The Swansea-born forward played 30 times for Wales and scored the winning goal in the 2-1 win against Hungary in the 1958 World Cup in Sweden.

He was also part of the Spurs squad that won the league and cup double in 1961 and the FA Cup again in 1962. Terry made his debut for what was then Swansea Town in 1949. After retiring as a player he coached at Cardiff, Fulham, Norwich and was assistant manager to John Toshack at Swansea during the club's climb from the Fourth Division to the First Division of the Football League in the late 1970s and early '80s.

Funeral service at All Saints' Church, Oystermouth, Swansea on Friday 17th May at 1pm followed by interment at Oystermouth Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu if desired may be sent to Alzheimer's Society Cymru, 1st Floor S4C, Parc Ty Glas, Llanishen, Cardiff, CF14 5DU - Cheques should be made payable to Alzheimer's Society Cymru. Such a lovely gentleman. Terry had a wicked sense of humour. He always had a funny story to tell. Will miss seeing him snoozing in the sunshine outside the house. We will remember Terry always with a smile.
