John died peacefully, aged 88 years, in the wonderful care of The Fountains Care Centre, Tetney, on Sunday 27th November, with his daughter and granddaughter by his side. John's funeral will be held in Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 12th December 2022 at 11.15am. Refreshments after the service in Tetney. No flowers please by request, donations in lieu to benefit 'Alzheimer's Society' may be given at the service or sent to: - Near & Near Undertakers, The Mews, David Street, Grimsby, DN32 9NN.
