Gwyneth EvelynLAUGHLINOn 29th April aged 88, much loved mother of David and Rosie, grandmother of Jonny and Sam, wife of late husband Ted, died peacefully at Oak Manor Care Home in Shefford ending a courageous journey with dementia.
Born in Guildford and formerly of Woking Road, Whitmoor Common, and Stoke Hill, her heart remained in Guildford even after her move to Bedfordshire in 2000.
She was known for her amazing recollection of the past and the friendships that lasted decades originating from her time at Bellfields and Northmead Schools, Guildford Technical College, various workplaces where she worked as a secretary including Weller Eggar and Guildford Probation Office, and from her years of worship at Stoke Church, St Peter's Church and St Saviour's Church. She will be deeply missed and remembered with fondness.
