Beloved husband of Felicity, much loved dad to Dak and Sophie, brother to Michael and Ann, loved brother-in-law and uncle.

Passed away in Addenbrookes Hospital on Sunday 8th February 2026 after an illness bravely fought. Aged 74 years.

Service at Cam Valley Crematorium on Thursday 5th March at 11.00am.

I am very sad to hear that Joe has died. He was a very good friend to me when I moved to Cambridge from Edinburgh in 1969. If I remember correctly, he worked in a hardware shop opposite the Joshua Taylor department store. He was always very well dressed in the latest Ben Sherman shirts, Levi Stay-Prest trousers and American style loafer shoes. Like me he was a "Mod" and a smart one at that. So sorry to hear he has gone.
