It was a great honour for me to take Julie's beloved Husband Malcolm's funeral. My first as a minister, I felt very privileged. Then Julie entrusted her Mum's funeral to me, what a wonderful insight into a great family that was. Thanks for the memories Julie our lives were intertwined, and your memory will be a blessing forever

Julie was the great practitioner of 'a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Despite being ill herself she was always there for others with food parcels and practical support. When I had my heart attack and subsequent by pass and Jose was so busy looking after Alicia and travelling to visit me, Julie was there with delicious meals so Jose didn't have to worry about getting food in and cooking.
As the saying goes, a little help is worth a lot of pity.
She was also very supportive with Mum, often visiting her and cheering her up with fun and food.
Julie was a true friend whom we will never forget. Glyn and Jose

I spent many happy times with Julie. I called her Nanny Julie as she had been my child minder since I was born. We had so much fun together, she was never afraid to be silly and encouraged my imagination to run wild. She used to make pancakes with me on Shrove Tuesday and we'd put ridiculous things in them even tomato sauce! Julie was somehow always able to find the fun even in the darkest of times. I'm going to miss her laugh and that always perfectly styled hair. May her memory be a blessing to all her friends and family.
