Margaret ElizabethHOPKINMargaret aged 69 years of Onneley passed away peacefully after a very short illness whilst at home surrounded by her loving family. A much loved wife of Chris, a loving mum of James and Rebecca, a treasured nanny of Harry, a cherished daughter of Beryl and the late Harry, also a dear sister of Michael and David.

Originally from Black Bank, with many strong connections to Silverdale where she worked at the local doctors and was involved with the church.

Funeral service to be held at All Saints' Church, Madeley, on Thursday 19th March 2026 at 1.15pm. Will all relatives please accept this the only intimation, friends wishing to attend please meet at the church.

Family flowers only, donations preferred to Madeley Practice Patients Fund.

No mourning clothes, please wear something colourful.

So sorry to hear this sad news, I have known Margaret for many years, working with her at Newcastle and Silverdale surgeries and later as a friend at Madeley surgery. Condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.
