I missed your funeral dennis ,we were away on a short break to Norfolk by coach otherwise i,d have travelled back especially,
we was and were great pals ,we always had a good craic when we met ,I remember from early teens onwards, one of my really best friends, see you later ,bryan [sprutts] doughty.

Dennis was one of the kindest, funniest people I have ever had the pleasure to know and call a friend. He was kind and
generous with his time and one of the funniest people I have ever known, he always brought a smile to people's faces with his humour. I will miss you forever Dennis xx

For many years Dennis was a friend and colleague, during that time we had so many laughs, he was our go-to person in times of crisis if a pool car had broken down or crashed (which happened quite often). I remember going with him in his lorry with his best friend Plonker, the beautiful black labrador. I was to drive the car back, the radiator had suffered in the accident and we had to keep stopping every time we saw a ditch that had some water in it so we could top the radiator up. Oh how we laughed...... I'll miss you forever Dennis xx
