Gerard AnthonyHIRSTGerry passed away suddenly, after a long illness on Wednesday 27th April 2022 aged 65 years, at his home in Thornton. Leicestershire, Surrounded by his loving family. Loved and missed by Wife Mary, Daughter Siobhan, Son Daniel, Grandchildren Roisin and Nolan, Father-in-law of Kevin and Melody. Dearly loved Brother to Mary, Joan and Monica, cherished Uncle and Cousin to many, Former Headteacher of St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Grimsby and Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Leicester. Life-long supporter and season ticket holder of Grimsby Town FC. Reception into Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mere Road, Leicester on Thursday 19th May at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mere Road, Leicester on Friday 20th May at 11.00am. Followed by burial in St Peter's Church Cemetery, Thornton, Leicestershire.
