MarjorieHESKETH BUTLERof Cherry Tree Lodge Care Home passed away peacefully on January 4 at Blackburn Royal Infirmary, aged 88 years.

Marjorie was originally from Haslingden and moved to Scotland for 20 years, returning in recent months to be near her daughter. She enjoyed painting, Wordle, Sudoku and endless cups of tea.

Beloved wife of the late Pete Hesketh Butler (died
June 2024), dear mother to Samantha and Richard.

“What beautiful memories you have left behind mum.”

A service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, at
1pm at Longholme Methodist Church conducted by the Rev David Burrow, followed by a cremation at
Accrington Crematorium at 2.20pm.
