Brian was my cousin, his dad and my mum were siblings. I didn't get the chance to see Brian very often as we lived in different parts of the country, but I always enjoyed to see him because he had such a lovely gentle disposition. Whenever my wife and I met him, he was always the same, easy to chat to, he talked to me like he'd just seen me the day before. The last few years of Brian’s life were not the easiest for him or his family, but I'm sure he gained a lot of comfort from having his family around him and seeing his grandchildren growing up.
