BernardHAYESSadly in hospital after a short illness on 24th March 2024 aged 85 years, Barney.
Devoted husband of Veronica (nee Hopwood), eldest son of the late John and Margaret Hayes, beloved dad of Paddy, Bernadette and the late Maria, dear father in law of Richard and Joanne, treasured grandad of Carmel, Dominic and Sinéad, also a loving brother. Barney will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Barney will be received into Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Lobley Hill on Tuesday 9th April at 4:30pm prior to requiem mass on Wednesday 10th April at 10:45am. Cremation to follow at Saltwell Crematorium at 12noon.
Donations if desired to SVP collection box at church and crematorium.
All welcome afterwards to the Highwayman Pub, Whickham Highway for refreshments.
