The service will take place outside Gordon's much loved record shop, The Lawns, Hinckley. LE10 1DY at 11am on Friday 3rd March followed by cremation at the Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton. So very sad to discover that the owner of Nervous Records had passed away. We are not from Hinckley, but had fond memories of visiting Gordon Hayes' lovely shop, around 4 years ago. Today (14th Jan, 2026), we decided that we'd like to visit again from Nottingham and only found out the sad news today when asking around in Hinckley. Our (very) belated sympathy and condolences to his friends and family. Mr Hayes was clearly a very well-loved and very well-regarded gentleman. Dee & Bryan.
