Died peacefully at home on 26th March, 2026. Much beloved husband of Gilda for 67 years.

He will be missed by his five children, nine grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

The funeral will take place at Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby, on the 24th April at 11.30am.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Médecins Sans Frontières or Dove House Hospice.

If you are unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed. Please contact the funeral director for further details.

Chris Haskins was the greatest influence on my career. He was my boss for over 20 years and a friend for 47 years. Chris was an outstanding leader and inspiration in making Northern Foods the most exciting and dynamic food business in the UK and Ireland. He had a great intellect, charm and humour which made him a wonderful person to work for. I will miss him greatly and send my love to Gilda and all his family.
