WilliamHARRISknown as ‘Billy’ of Heald Lane, Weir, Bacup, passed away on September 29 at the Royal Blackburn Hospital aged 77 years. Billy was a retired engineer, working at Woodhey Engineering. He enjoyed walking, socialising, shopping and reading. Billy leaves behind his long term partner Joan, son Martin, sister Muriel, brother-in-law John and four nieces. His funeral will take place on Thursday, October 13 with a small service at the Chapel of Rest at 1pm, followed by a service and cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 1.45pm.
