MargaretGOLDFINCHIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret Ford Goldfinch. Nee Barkas. Born in South Shields but resided in North Tyneside.
She went to sleep peacefully at North Tyneside General Hospital on 21st August 2025 aged 89 years.
Margaret was a loving wife to Peter, a devoted mother to Paul and Arthur, mother in law to Allison and step mother to Kevin & David.
She was a fun loving grandma to David, Kris, Laurie, Aimee, Peter, Eva, Betsy, Spencer, Reina, Liam, Laura & Amy.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday 9th September, 12pm at Whitley Bay Crematorium followed by a celebration of her life at The Grand Hotel, Tynemouth. All who knew her and family friends are welcome to attend.
