In Memoriam for Clare GITTINGS

There will be a service of celebration for Clare Gittings on Saturday 2 May at 11.30am. In All Saints Church in Hertford. It is open to all who knew her.

Clare touched many hearts. She was a teacher (Primary Schools in Essex), an educator (National Portrait Gallery), an Author, and a volunteer both in the Maldive Islands (1986-1988) and later in Hertford (Morgans, Museum). She sang with Hertford Choral Society.

Clare died peacefully on 21 December 2025, aged 71, the funeral took place in February, now is the time to celebrate her multi-faceted life. Dress brightly as she did.

If you would like to come, please e mail her partner Malcolm Ramsay, not least so that refreshments can be provided after the service, in the church. Thank you.
