Anne VeronicaGIFFORDIt is with great sadness that we announce that our beautiful mum, Anne Veronica Gifford,
passed away peacefully on Monday 5th January 2026
at Brentwood Arches Care Home, Essex, aged 89 years.
Beloved wife of the late Godfrey Gifford, much-loved mum to Kathy, Liz and Wendy,
treasured grandma to Holly, Jacob, Cara, Max, Matthew and Sam,
loving sister to Pat, mum-in-law to Mark and Richard,
sister-in-law to Sybil and Percy, aunt to Peter,
and a dear friend to many in Alkborough and surrounding areas.
A funeral service to remember and celebrate Anne's life will take place
on Thursday 5th February 2026 at Alkborough Church at 11.30am,
followed by a committal at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe at 12.40pm.
Family flowers only, please.
Donations for Marie Curie nurses may be left in Anne's memory.
