ColinELRINGTONOn Monday 17th November 2025, Colin passed away at Durham University Hospital, aged 65. An adored husband to Barbara, a devoted father to his beloved daughter Helen, a much loved brother to his sisters Christine and Susan, brother-in-law to Alan, Christine and David, a dearly missed uncle to Michael, Claire, Catherine, Charlotte, Rebecca, Christopher and Robert and a cherished friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all.

The funeral service will be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday 5th December 2025 at 2:30pm. After the service, all are welcome to celebrate Colin's life at The Lambton Arms, Chester-le-Street.

Family flowers only please. Should anyone wish to make a donation in lieu of flowers, please make these to either The British Heart Foundation or The Stroke Society in honour of Colin.

Uncle Colin was the best uncle when I was growing up. He gave me endless horsey rides as a kid, introduced me to all the latest gadgets, and created joy in laughter-filled family meals.

It is so awful that he is no longer with us. We will miss him always.
