The obituary notice of Paul John EATON

So sad to hear this. Paul was a lovely man, always kind and helpful. He looked after mine, my mother's and more recently my daughter's cars for over 30 years. I tried calling him last week to book my daughter's car in. I now know why there was no answer 😞. Rest in peace Paul. Lots of love Leah, Layla and Glenda x

Paul was a neighbour when we lived in Western Street. He was a figure you’d be guaranteed to see on the corner talking to sewing boys. Was very gracious helping family with car problems and someone who loved a chat however busy he was. He’ll be sadly missed. R I P Paul. Diane, Dave and family xx

I am so so sad to hear of the passing of Paul. He has looked after my cars for over 30 years, his father John before him then Paul. He was always there for a chat and advice even at 6am! He wasn’t just a mechanic but a friend to his customers. He will be missed by so many people including me. RIP Paul. Alan Phillips

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear that Paul Eaton of JRE Motors had suddenly passed away on 25 August.  I have been using JRE, in Little Gam Street, Sandfields, for over 30 years; firstly with the late John Eaton and then with his son Paul.  I might have only spoke to Paul 2 or 3 times a year but he was always there with a smile and excellent advice plus first class service to the many car I have had over the years.  I feel honoured to have known Paul and will miss him dearly.  Sleep well Paul. RIP my friend.
