The obituary notice of Yolanda DR COURTNEY

I knew Yolanda as Yolanda Stanton before she was married. We both served together on the committee of the Nelson Society during the 1980s – Yolanda was Hon. Secretary from 1984 to 1987 and I still have many of her letters. She was delightful to know and I am greatly saddened to learn of her death. I send my sincere condolences to her family. May Yolanda rest in peace.

On behalf of the Finds Research Group, I'd like to send my condolences to Yolanda's family. Both Yolanda and her late husband Paul were stalwart supporters of archaeological finds research and of our Group. Very sad news indeed, but I have great memories of our trips to the Netherlands and other places. Christine McDonnell

I was very sad to hear of Yolanda's passing. Many many years ago Yolanda was my line manager at Leicester Museums and she was a much valued quiz team member in our Night Owls team. I have many happy memories of both her and Paul. She will be very missed. Best wishes, Heather Hollins.
