JosephineDE CRISTOFARO(Gateshead) Passed away peacefully at home on 19th January 2026, aged 84. Beloved wife of the late Domenico (Tony). Dearly loved mam of Giulia, Antonio, Debbie, much loved mother-in-law, adored nanna and great nanna and a dear sister.

Family and friends please meet at St. Oswalds R.C. Church, Wrekenton on Wednesday 4th February at 12.00 noon for service, followed by interment, Saltwell Cemetery at 1.00pm.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Josie for Marie Curie would be appreciated, there will be a retiring collection at the service.

You were never angry or upset at anything, all I remember is you making other people laugh and smile, (And that daft lamp you had) I always thought it was something to fix your hair 😂.
Everyone loved being around you, if you were in the room, the room was the best place to be

R.I.P Josie , you are now free from pain . Fond memories of a beautiful lady inside and out , a lovely mother in law and the best nana to my 4 children Domenic , Daniel ,Rebecca and Louise , the best cook of Italian dishes , no one can master your sauce recipe 😁. You will be sadly missed by us all and will be forever in our thoughts , sleep tight lovely lady ❤️
