Michael NormanCOVERDALEOn December 13th 2022 Peacefully at home Michael aged 80 years of Almondbury. Beloved husband of Susan, much loved dad of Mark, Darren and Michael, dear father-in-law of Michaella, dearly loved grandad of James, Thomas, Amy and Nichole. Also a loved uncle and good friend of many. At Michael's request a private family service will be held at Hey Lane Cemetery on Friday December 30th. The family would like to invite everyone to join them for refreshments following the service at Almondbury Liberal Club from 1.30pm. Any donations in memory of Michael would be gratefully received for Kirkwood Hospice, a plate will be available in the club. Michael sat daily on the wall opposite our house, chatting with his friends. Miss seeing them all. He always waved and said hello.

My friend Michael how I will miss our walks with Ruby I can honestly say you got me throw Covid .you were never shy in telling me I was shouting when I was talking a little too loudly. We had some good laughs I will miss you love pat

I spent many an hour with pops over the short time I knew him .we had lots of laughs and more than a few beers together. He filled a gap in my heart left by the loss of my own father.he was a pleasure to be with and made the best builders brew .I will miss you always love you Pops
