Bill. You were more than an uncle. You were more like a brother. Friend & encourager. You left a hole in our lives that can never be filled. I cling to the memories & take comfort from the great, funny times we had. God Bless & know you will never be forgotten, unless I get alzeimers ( i know youd be laughing at that). Love & miss you xxx

When it comes to having you for my Uncle, I feel like I won the uncle lottery. Someone who helps, advises, and encourages; great at telling funny family stories and there was definitely nobody better than you with your dry humour. You was there for me Billy when you visited my own Dad in hospital giving me support, help and guidance when it was really needed and I will never forget that. I was blessed to be at your side and the way you kept your dignity was amazing. I was privileged to be a small part of your life as you played a massive part in mine.
God Bless xx Alan xx

Hi Bill,
You fought the good fight even though you were in so much pain. I admired your courage and bravery throughout your illness. I was proud to call you my friend. I valued our friendship more than you know. Your support was immeasurable. Your quick wit and great sense of humour had no bounds and will be sorely missed, “Come on you blues!”.
I will be watching the game with you tonight. Your friend Peter.

Billy, I can’t quite believe I won’t see you again. I will remember you forever. You always put a smile on my face and made me giggle so much. Such a massive gap in the world without you in it. Your girls will give you a good send-off you deserve. Love Margi x
