Val died peacefully at Willerfoss House Care Home, Withernsea, on Thursday 4th September aged 95.
She was a loving mother to Phillip & Kathleen (Cassie), mother in law to Carol, and grandmother to Jessica, who she adored.
Val will be greatly missed but is now finally reunited in death with her late and loving husband Harry who died in 2019.
A service of thanksgiving for Val's life will be held on Friday 3rd October, 12noon at: Lelley Fields Crematorium, Sproatley Road, Preston, East Yorkshire HU12 8FX.
