Jeffrey MalcolmCLARKEOn 9th July 2025, Jeff passed away peacefully at Torbay hospital, aged 81 years, after a period of illness. Against all odds, Jeff bravely fought off serious illness early in the previous year, to enjoy most of his final year independent at home. In the final days before his passing, Jeff was surrounded by his loving family, old and new.

Jeff loved motorcars - with which he worked - sports, music and, particularly, animals and wildlife. He revelled in being in nature, and outside on the move. He was a brilliant conversationalist and storyteller, and taught his loved ones the value of being in the present and giving those in his company his undivided attention.

Jeff deeply loved his family, for whom he worked so hard and gave so much. He will be sorely missed by them - his daughter Karen, his son Ben, his sister Pamela and family, his granddaughter Freya, his children-in-law James and Felicia, as well as his many friends. They hope he is now reunited with his late wife, Pat.

A funeral service to commemorate Jeff's life will be held at St Andrews Church, Ipplepen on Tuesday 29th July at 12.30pm.

Donations in memory of Jeff can be made to Animals in Distress and the RSPB These may be made online with Gift Aid at www.stockmanandloram.co.uk/donations

Cheques payable to the charities can also be sent care of Sebastian Loram, Funeral Director at Stockman & Loram Family Run Funeral Service, 7 Churston Broadway, Paignton, TQ4 6LE.

As you taught us, Jeff, our shared memories are but a thought away. We will frequently have them on play to be close to you. YNWA, Jeff.

Rest in peace, dear Jeff! ❤️
You have a special place in our hearts, even though we just met a few times. Your openness and warm attitude gave us a feeling of instant connection. Grateful that your son is now a part of our family! 🙏❤️
A quote from Queen Elizabeth:
“We are all visiters to this time, this place.
We are just passing through.
Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love.
And then we return Home.”
