Roy PeterCHARLTONPeacefully, at home with his son Jacob by his side, Roy of New Waltham, Grimsby, passed away on 4th October 2025, aged 63, following a bravely fought illness.
Beloved husband of the late Alison, devoted dad to Jacob, much-loved son of Joyce and Roy, and dear son-in-law of Janet and the late Colin. Cherished brother of Graham, Jimmy, Alan and Tony and a dearly loved brother-in-law of Christine, Dawn, Christine, Nicola, Sarah and Andrew. Roy was also a treasured uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin and a wonderful friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A service to celebrate Roy's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday, 28th October 2025 at 12:45pm, followed by refreshments at Carr Lane Social Club.
The family kindly ask that anyone attending bring a copied photo they have of Roy to contribute to a memory board being created to celebrate Roy. The board will be displayed at Carr Lane Social Club following the service.
Family flowers only please. Donations in Roy's memory, if desired, will be gratefully received for Macmillan Cancer Support.
